The current situation has been linked to the inability of the city council to effectively collect waste. Poor finances and planning have been cited as the major contributing factors.The research has shown that the residents of Avondale want to have a solid waste collection system that they will be able to support. The collection system that was chosen is the curbside liftable container system.
