Abstract
Land is the cornerstone of oil human activity. This activity might relate to holding an interest in land or even to transactions of the commodity. Thus disputes arise. Land dispute resolution as a process must, therefore, be re-enforced with the potential of alleviating delays in the delivery of justice. An inadequate system of land dispute resolution frustrates the very essence and purpose for which the land dispute resolution process was established.
Against this background, the study conducts a critique of the
Lands Tribunal. The study contends that the Lands Tribunal has failed to meet the expectations of the members of the public. In conclusion, the study provides recommendations that provide a basis on which Government may improve justice delivery system.
